M Design Boutique Cold Process Soap is here!
Not sure what I mean by “Cold Process”? Well…in a nutshell it is the process of taking fats (in this case vegan oils and butters such as olive oil, palm oil, coconut, avocado, evening primrose, sweet almond, cocoa butter, shea butter and so on) and caustic soda (lye and water solution) and putting them together in the right conditions to create the chemical reaction that turns it all into soap! Was that a nutshell? Maybe not. The point is, this is the real deal. This is not melt-and-pour soap like you see in the craft store. This is old school soap, with a modern twist (I don’t use lard…although I think I need to try making bacon soap, don’t you?).
For those of you who follow M Design Boutique on facebook, you know that I offer all small-batch CP Soap at a discount from my facebook wall. Some batches never even make it in to MDB’s shops…so if you want to be on the short list of people who get first, and sometimes only crack at getting your hands on a bar of MDB CP Soap…go become a fan now!
Here are some images of the small batch soaps that are available now, or will be shortly. Some batches are sold out as marked. All sold-out batches will return, and you can contact me to reserve a bar email@example.com — or post a request on the MDB facebook wall for yours.
